Ice River Springs is proud to announce the support of breast cancer research with a total donation of $90,000 to two of North America’s leading breast cancer charities.
“This cause is deeply personal for us,” stated Sandy Gott. “Some of our closest family members have battled breast cancer and many members of our team have family and friends who have been affected.”
In addition to the donation many of Ice River Springs’ associates are embarking on initiatives of their own. Sandy Gott and Suzanne Mannerow took part in the 5th Annual Trail Ride for Breast Cancer with 195 other riders raising $25,000.
At our Kentland facility in Indiana we will be hosting an open house tour with donations going to NBCF. At our Morganton head office in North Carolina several associates will be taking part in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®.
These initiatives are part of our Ice River Springs “Reach” program that encourages our associates to support their local communities by participating in charitable causes. “The Reach program exemplifies our established values,” notes Brad Hatfield, Vice President of Operations in Morganton. “Together we can really make a difference, build team spirit and a sense of unity as we come together to support important causes.”
